‘Don’t walk away from Silence’ is an installation based on using synesthetic connections between sound and colour, coded in response to Eric Satie’s ‘Vexations”, a composition and name of which, Satie never explained. Various conjectures regarding the meaning of Vexations were construed long after Satie's death.

Instigated and exhibited in collaboration with works from artist Hayal Incedogan, the work of “Don’t Walk Away From Silence” was exhibited in combination with 16 photographs (20 x 25 cm) at the NY School of Visual Arts 'Open Studio' exhibition, in New York, America in 2007.
